1) Are Epeds road legal? Yes. Epeds conform to all EEC legal requirements and each one carries it's own certifcate of compliance.
2) Do I need to wear a crash helmet? Yes. Epeds are regarded legally in the same way as any other scooter. You are also advised to wear protective clothing when riding your Eped.
3) Will my Eped have to display number plates? Yes. Your Eped will be registered with the DVLA in the same way as any other road going vehicle. You will however, be exempt from road tax as your Eped does not pollute the atmosphere with any harmful emmissions.
4) I am only 16 years of age - do you have Eped models available restricted to 30mph? Yes. Restricted versions are available of all our models. Please ensure you inform us of the age of the new owner when you order it.

6) Will my Eped have a warranty?
Yes. All Epeds have a one year or 6000 mile warranty - whichever comes soonest.
7) Do Epeds require regular servicing and MOTs?
Epeds are very low maintenance with the main serviceable parts being the brakes, tyres and lights. An MOT is required once your Eped is 3 years old.
8) How do I charge the battery? Your Eped just plugs into your nearest mains outlet using the charger provided.
9) How far can I travel on a single charge? The range depends on how fast you are riding and when, (if riding at night you will be using more electricity to power your lights), but the average distance is 35 miles.
